Using Spatialtuts
Spatialtuts publishes free GIS tutorials and guides. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Tutorials are provided for learning. Check each lesson's datasets, software versions, settings, and limitations before relying on a method for your own work. The content is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and Spatialtuts is not liable for losses arising from its use.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate details when you sign up. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
Comments and submitted tutorials
You keep ownership of what you post. By submitting a comment or tutorial you give Spatialtuts a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and adapt it on the site and in related feeds.
Only post content you have the right to share. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or spam. Submitted tutorials are reviewed before publication and may be edited, declined, or removed. Comments may be moderated or removed.
Content and reuse
Unless a tutorial states otherwise, its text and images belong to Spatialtuts or the credited author. You may link to tutorials and quote short excerpts with attribution. Datasets and third-party software referenced in tutorials remain subject to their own licences.
Automated agents may read and summarise public pages for search and for answering user questions, as declared in robots.txt. Using the content to train AI models is not permitted.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
