Spatialtuts GIS Crime Hotspot Analysis - fixed dataset snapshot

Files:
- burglary_2024.csv: 8,396 unique, coordinate-valid 2024 BURGLARY records.
- areas.geojson: 77 Chicago community-area polygons (WGS 84).
- run_analysis.py: ArcGIS Pro / ArcPy reproduction script.
- data-checks.json: extraction counts; 8,436 raw records, 40 excluded for missing/invalid coordinates.
- sources.json: exact official source queries and retrieval timestamp.

The incident points are generalized reported locations, not precise addresses.
This is an incident-count analysis, not a population-adjusted risk estimate.

Requirements: ArcGIS Pro with an available licence. Spatial Analyst is needed
only for the optional kernel-density raster. Work in a writable extracted
folder; do not run the script inside the ZIP.

Run in ArcGIS Pro: View > Python Window, then:
import runpy
runpy.run_path(r"C:\GIS\Spatialtuts\run_analysis.py", run_name="__main__")

Change the path to the actual location where you extracted this package.
Each run creates a new timestamped folder containing a file geodatabase,
hotspot_results.csv, audit.json and, when licensed, burglary_density.tif.

The script was syntax-checked but has not been executed with licensed ArcGIS
Pro here. The article images are credited reference screenshots from published
ArcGIS articles; their displayed values are not this snapshot's results.
